Infinite Stick
Infinite realities. One soul. Who will you become?

Infinite worlds. Unlikely lives. Your next story is out there.
Somewhere beyond the next portal, a life is waiting for you.
A king commanding armies as his kingdom falls apart. A detective following an occult trail through a rain-soaked city. A university janitor discovering why one classroom never appears on the floor plans.
Infinite Stick is a D&D-inspired, text-based RPG that finds you a universe and drops you into a life within it. Each reality brings its own history, cultures, conflicts and rules. Fantasy, science fiction, horror, mystery, ordinary life, or strange combinations with no name yet.
You don’t always arrive as the hero. You might hold a crown, a case file, or a mop.
From there, you play. Describe your actions, speak to the people around you, take chances and roll the dice. Follow the life you’ve landed in, or try to turn it into something nobody saw coming.
Not every adventure starts with saving the world. Sometimes it starts with your night shift.
Say it. Risk it. Roll it. Live with it.
Describe
Say what you want to do in your own words. Talk to someone, pick a lock, lead a charge, or mop the corridor and listen.
Take a chance
When the outcome is uncertain, who you are and where you stand set the odds.
Roll the dice
A D20 decides. A perfect plan can fail. A desperate gamble can change everything.
Carry on
The world remembers what happened. Deal with it, and decide what you do next.
Inside the game

Every reality plays by its own rules.
Each universe arrives complete, with its own history, cultures, conflicts and laws of what is possible. One might be a samurai drama on a world split by a great rift. The next might be cosmic horror aboard an orbital habitat. Working out how this particular world works is half the adventure.

The cards open the portal.
Before every run you draw from the tarot. The cards do not decide your fate, but they lean on it, nudging which of the infinite realities opens for you. Then you step through and find out what you have done.

You don’t always arrive as the hero.
You might be the king. You might be the detective. You might be the one who cleans up after them. Your dossier tells you who you are now: what you can do, what you can’t, and how much trouble you can survive.
“Hello, Traveler.”
- The terminal wakes, and something on the other side greets you.
- Draw your cards. They help decide which of the infinite realities you are sent to.
- A universe is found: its history, its cultures, its conflicts and its rules.
- A life inside it is chosen for you. You learn who you are, what you know and what you owe.
- The first scene opens. There is a crown, a case file or a mop in your hands. What do you do?
A few places you might wake up.
A glimpse of the places and lives taking shape in Infinite Stick.
Ledi
Life clings to a vast organism. You guard nectar at the Golden Sieve, share meals with Troyak and begin to wonder what is happening to the living world beneath your feet.
Stonund
A spire rises through the clouds. You work in the kitchens of the Brass Kettle while the Vultic Oracles hum into the brass fittings. For now, someone still needs to make dinner.
Khades
Microscopic machines keep a desert world breathable. Missing minerals have attracted the Iron Scythe Order’s attention, and their records leave little room for anything to disappear unnoticed.
Kineind
Settlements sit beneath the sea, held by chains against the darkness. Spirits demand tribute. Your work in the Tether-Store gives you plenty of time to think about what those chains are holding back.

- The underlying rules track what has happened.
- AI helps interpret actions and describe the unfolding story.
- We want enough freedom for unexpected ideas, with enough consistency that you can understand and trust the consequences.
Who will you become next time?

Building a game master that has to respect the game.
- AI helps create worlds, interpret intentions and narrate events. The game’s rules resolve uncertain actions and record their consequences.
- Our aim is a game master that responds imaginatively while respecting the world you’re playing in.
- If something matters enough to affect your decisions, it should matter after the next paragraph too.
